About Amy Anderson

To pursue a passion for community engagement and entrepreneurship, Amy Anderson joined the West Central MN SBDC as Program Coordinator in 2018. Since joining the West Central MN SBDC, she has applied her community engagement, fundraising, and organizational development skills directly to her role as Program Coordinator and within her current role as Interim Director for the West Central regional office. Amy is fiercely committed to maintaining the current strengths of the West Central MN SBDC while preparing the team for a smooth transition to a new host and director in 2023.After earning a BA at Concordia College in 1993, Amy acquired a variety of professional experiences including counseling at-risk youths, reading tutorship, and paraprofessional work in the public school system. Additionally, she has extensive experience with small business and corporate retail. Amy’s cumulative professional and volunteer experiences have secured the comprehensive skill sets required for leadership and collaborative decision-making required for entrepreneurial success.
