About Amy Moroni

As a 5x founder and social impact entrepreneur, I have proven expertise as a creative leader, a community builder, local economy champion and possibilitarian who never runs out of ideas!I choreograph the visions of others into practical magic, changing communities, educating minds and opening eyes to what may not seem possible. I believe in people and their ideas, community contribution, wholehearted strategy and flexible, emergent systems that keep the human in humanity. I believe firmly in the resilience and creativity of community when it has a place for everyone at the table. My passions for art, food, music, community and entrepreneurship come together in a creative and potent dynamic when I get to work with like minded people. And nothing lights me up like watching the magic unfold when all of the elements align with the vital main ingredient - purpose. My favourite ways to work with people: I deliver practical inspiration as a speaker, workshop leader and conversation facilitator, grounded in experience, a passion for marketing change via storytelling and expansive vision for what is possible.I can guide you in pulling together successful community building events where you see people connecting, collaborating, leaving with contacts made, ideas shared and change inevitable. Coaching from me gives you space to play with your ideas. I engage in vibrant collaboration as I attune to your vibe and mindset, bring questions to play with and let you leave invigorated and hopeful for change. I find it easy to see and implement operational flow - getting you out of the systems that narrow your vision and block your growth.I have nearly 20 years of experience in small town entrepreneur-led and community economic development and have transformed the branding and sense of future possibility in communities across BC. I would love to work with you because:- You have a new idea that you don’t know how to execute- You want new perspective on an old problem, some creative thinking, interesting angles- You feel the need to be more connected to all of your values- You want collaborative development of your ideas- You want to build your business or non-profit communities- You need someone to understand your highly audacious goals and strategize how to reach them- You desire help with dreaming up your next world-changing social enterprise and bringing it to life

Long Table Grocery

Quesnel, British Columbia, Canada

Long Table Grocery was a social enterprise in Quesnel that I founded in 2017 with the vision of "Growing Community through Food". Over the next 6 years, we grew into a 7 figure company, that employed 15+ people and supported over 50 local businesses and farms while channeling millions of dollars back into the local economy and providing free groceries to hundreds of families through our charitable partnerships. At the core of our business was the permaculture ethics of "Earth Care. People Care. Fair Share " and we tried to make all our decisions with these values in mind. We are deeply committed to food security and worked with several local organizations towards increasing access to healthy local food for all. In the spring of 2023 the business transitioned from a focus on grocery to catering services, due to shifting community needs and market conditions, and Long Table Catering was acquired by another local business in September of 2023 but continues to operate with the same values, team and offerings.
