Currently I am the Development Coordinator for the McConnell Arts Center. I am passionate about Building Pathways to Experience the Joy and Wonder of the Arts. In my role, I primarily aid in executing all aspects of fundraising and development including major and planned gifts, annual campaign, direct mail, special events, sponsorships, foundation grants, corporate grants and contributions, government grants, in-kind gifts, and prospect research. With this execution, I follow through with database operations to track progress towards goals. In my work as a Graduate Instructor, I provided direct English composition instruction to students in various courses, following departmental guidelines and syllabi. I prepare and deliver lectures, assignments, and exams, as well as monitor attendance and grade student work. I taught both in-person classes and fully remote classes. In my previous editorial position, I managed the editorial team, reviewed submissions, and ensured the quality and consistency of the journal. I also served as an AmeriCorps member at I Know I Can, a nonprofit college access organization, and as a Family Ambassador at Columbus City Schools, where I supported students and families with academic and personal needs. I am motivated by my passion for literature, education, and social justice, and I aim to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
