Evaluating and treament of patients in ICU and acute care with empahsis on pulmonary, cardiac, and neurological rehabilitation while on and weaning from the ventilator. Active part of the Pulmonary and Early Mobilization program. Post surgical rehabilitation from diabetic complications. Splinting and spasticity management of upper extremities in a long term acute care setting. Multidisciplinary communication daily for optimal discharge managment to enchance promotion of highest level of functional independence.

Treatment areas included ICU, inpatient rehabilitation unit, post operative neurosurgical rehabiliation, pediatric, and outpatient. I have experience with splinting, spasticity management, and orthotics/prosthetics for upper extremities. I was an integral part of creating and implementing a pediatric OT evalation form. I presented at the 2004 Adolescencent and Young Adult Symposium at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center "Assisting the Sarcoma Patient- The Role of Occupational and Physical Therapy" I was also a presentor in May 2004 at the AOTA National Conference "Rehabilitation after Limb Salvage: A Historical Perspective and Overview of Current Techniques"

Treamtent areas included acute care, SNF, and outpatinet. I was collaborating with the multidisciplary team for the development of an inpatient joint repalcement program.
