Software Quality Manager
Current•Maintain documentation and other items organized through central repositories•Manage and track resource allocation and scheduling using Microsoft Project•Manage a software testing staff of 10 people•Liaison between the end-users and development teams•Work with development and user groups to facilitate software releases•Identify and address personnel and performance issues in a timely manner•Encourage professional development, including career path, training and promotions•Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and that finished products are of high quality and meet requirements•Staff project and ensures team has the tools and training required •Provide clear expectations of responsibilities deliverables and due dates to team members•Ensure software defects, requests and enhancements in the tracking system are fixed in a timely manner•Assist in the development of test planning, writing and the execution documented procedures •Train and mentor software testing personnel •Develop repeatable processes for key team functions, identifies and implements opportunities to improve existing conditions and processes for team•Compile, analyze and review departmental metrics•Assist with the hiring and training of new employees •Travel to offsite locations to test software and troubleshoot software as well as hardware issues•Record and manage to measurable goals
