Mercer Program ManagementAfter a review of the Project Portfolio and making several critical recommendations, I took over the Program of work covering all transitions of clients into and out of the organisation. After the first six months, I had turned the around the delivery of the projects, initiating Steering Committees and working groups, clearer project reporting and better financial management, resulting in better stakeholder engagement and commitment and the delivery of all projects on time and within budget. I then took on another troubled program, covering all client projects. After implementing pipeline management and capacity management processes and tools and the same proven Project Governance changes, this Program was able to meet its delivery and revenue targets consistently.Telstra Agile EnablementAs part of Telstra's strategy to take their organisation Agile, I worked with a reporting and insights team over 18 months, preparing them for the change in "ways of working" and coaching them through the first 12 months after the transition. During this time, I implemented how they would interact with other teams, organise and deliver their work, and coached and trained 40+ staff members on Agile concepts, Agile tools and how to deliver projects most efficiently and effectively.RMIT Transformation Program – Data StrategyRMIT was planning a large ERP migration to Workday, covering all employees, financials, and student data. I was asked to define a Data Migration Strategy and Approach. After gaining approval on the approach, I assembled the core data migration team, recruiting domain expert analysts and development resources.

NSW Family and Community Services – Data MigrationPerformed a project QA on the viability of the project to deliver on its timeline and budget. I was then requested to take over the execution of the project, through to deployment. I quickly implemented resource changes, delivery methodology changes, reworked an achievable schedule and began delivery towards a November cutover.

Formed a team of 7 onshore and 8 offshore team members, providing support across in-house built applications, Azure deployments and project support services. Implemented JIRA and Zendesk to management of support tickets and team workload management.Australian Unity - Data MigrationWas personally requested by the client to develop a Data Migration strategy for the acquisition of the home care services business from the NSW Family and Community Services, with data for 600 employees and 50,000 clients. Managed a team of 12 (vendor, client and 3rd party) to perform four tranches of migration, ensuring no employees or clients were not migrated. Designed reconciliation and checkpoint reporting for C-level cutover meetings for migration endorsement.

CGU - Data Migration (Wesfarmers Integration)Lead a blended vendor and client team of 10 to migrate policy and claims data from the Wesfarmers Data Warehouse into CGU’s corporate Data Warehouse, using a Data Vault modelling structure. Activities covered the design, development, testing and deployment. Worked closely with the business to ensure data and Tableau reporting numbers reconcile with legacy reports.Energy Australia - Data Warehouse SupportContinuing from the Data Warehouse implementation, engaged to provide Production support and Enhancement Support for the Retail Data Warehouse.* Implemented workload tracking and support management via JIRA, enabling traceability of support tickets from identification, through to deployment* Managed the successful upgrade and regression testing of the Business Objects reporting front end* Lead a team of 9, including client resource and offshore resources through on time and on budget delivery of over 30 individual enhancements* Provided the approach, direction and leadership for the successful migration of the data for an additional 1.6 Million customers into the Data WarehouseTRU Energy - Data MigrationInitially brought in to manage the Data Migration component of the TRU Energy Odyssey project, and after successfully establishing a presence and showing skill in the management of the team, and the Data Warehouse build.* Successful delivery of the Data Migration of 2.6 million customers through a number of testing phases up to deployment, into a new billing system* Established relationships with team members and stakeholders enabling positive outcomes to be achieved* Managed the design and implementation of a business-critical data warehouse, to support management, operational and regulatory reporting across the new billing system* Led a team of 25 through business-critical monthly executions requiring 24x7 attention over a 5-day period, resulting in successfully final execution of the production migration

Program Management - Instrumental in the management of the RACV program of projects ($9M per annum), successfully managing the workload of the equivalent of 5 project managers. Included the management of the complex Cornerstone systems Production implementation.Disaster Recovery and TSM Project - Led the management and implementation of a dedicated tape library and backup system, along with the connection of 80 servers to the system. Successfully led the strategic management for the creation of an infrastructure disaster recovery plan and test run of the plan of a cold-site disaster recover solution of both AIX and Intel Servers.Cornerstone Infrastructure - Instrumental in the management and implementation of a 50 LPARS for both AIX and Intel, including installation and configuration of SAP, DB2, MQSeries, Message Broker and other Websphere Products. Managed servers from the project environment into BAU support, playing a key role in the installation, transition and development of support processes and documentation.

Mainframe Disaster Recovery Project - Managed the ordering, delivery and implementation of the hardware required for a hot-site DR Mainframe solution, including CPU, Tape library and Disk Silo. Successfully led process relating to a DWDM being implemented to replicate between the Production site and the DR site.Mainframe Refresh Project - Led the ordering, delivery and implementation of the hardware including CPU, Tape Library and Disk Silo. Carefully planned a small agreed outage during the cutover to the new equipment to a mission critical application.Financial Services Oracle 11i Upgrade Project - Project managed the Victoria Police Financial Services Oracle 11i upgrade project. Managed the successful delivery and implementation of the new hardware, including 4 SUN Servers and SAN disks. ADIDAS Application Development Program - Led the design, development, testing and rollout of a specialised application to store Booze Bus data and produce specialised and customisable reporting.Assets to invoice Reconciliation Project - Managed the reconciliation of all the hardware assets in the Victoria Police environment, including the implementation of software solution to manage hardware assets and simplify the hardware invoicing.

Application Development Project - Initially appointed as an Application Developer, quickly progressed into a project management role, successfully managing software development implementations.
