I was appointed team lead on this project in November 2010, prior to that being a senior analyst/developer on a related project developing Barclays Capitals T1 PnL system.The team consists of 6 developers, using C#, Visual Studio 2010, MSSQL 2008, SSRS and AutoSys to provide continuous solution improvements in the MOPL environment. I am responsible for ensuring that the latest & most relevant technologies, architectural & design principles are evaluated and implemented in an agile software development environment. I take on as much development responsibilities as all other members of the team, and manage the sprint-cycles of our project work to ensure timelines are honored and a high level of quality is maintained. In addition I liaise directly with all project stakeholders & hold to agile methodologies to ensure a visible and transparent approach to the MOPL Solution.The second major project is the Odyssey sub ledger, an intermediate GL that consolidates the PnL position, adjustments and postings across the entire bank. I was brought in based on my success with the MOPL project, and within eight months of taking over we had a highly successful production release, a happy product owner and I have met all my performance appraisal targets.In addition to MOPL & Odyssey I am responsible for at least three other medium level products: the Collateral Long Short Model, the Independent Price Verification application & the Tax Recoup project.
