A Professional Engineer, registered with ECSA since 2013, with 18 years’ experience as a Consulting Engineer, in both the public and private sectors. While based in Dublin, Ireland, I have worked extensively in Sub-Saharan Africa, primarily in contract and project management roles, on bulk water supply, drainage, and irrigation projects. During my career, my roles and responsibilities have been varied ranging from the contract management and administration, project management, design engineer and site resident engineer both as the sole representative as well as managing a team of site staff, design engineers and specialist sub-consultants. More recently I have managed and worked on both local and international projects with a focus on procurement, contract documentation and contract management. This interest has led to further studies in construction adjudication and dispute resolution.
