As a Quality Assurance Engineer for Cappfinity I have completed the following tasks andchallenges:• Performed extensive cross platform functionality testing for a new video roominterviewing service. Bydoing so any browser specific issues are identified and flagged for risk assessmentbefore any changes go live.• Evaluated data from live customer Google Analytics data to determine the mostcommonly used minimum screen resolutions. This was incorporated into every daytesting to ensure customers on smaller resolutions were able to able to perform allfunctionality and read the content on the screens within a video lobby without anyissues.• Produced in-depth bug reports on story defects found, providing details of the steps toreplicate the issue, what the expected outcome should be from taking such steps andthe actual results being experienced. • Created detailed user stories for any potential system improvements, including bothfunctional and UI features. Would provide a detailed reason why this would have apositive impact for the customers during weekly estimation sessions.

As a System Tester for Selco, below are the achievements and experiences from my timethere:• Reviewed technical specification documents for large scale projects and providedvaluable feedback to reduce issues during UAT testing.• Created user stories and detailed test cases for each project worked on. Produced step by step instructions on how to replicate the problem, pointing out in each step what the expected outcome should be. 3. Given detailed description of what the expected outcome should be and where it fails and results in the defect/bug. 4. Where a story existed, the defect/bug was linked to it. If one did not exist, a new story was written. 5. Successfully tested and rolled out a new system for a large scale distribution centre. The success of this saved both the company and supplier’s money on transportation costs, reducing the carbon footprint of the business, automated the resupply of 60+ branches and enabling branch staff more time to spend assisting customers.

When I was first employed by Masterlease I was in charge of all the early termination calculations. Within a few months of working for the company my responsibilities had expanded to cover the following:• Worked on producing quotes for contract extensions, resets and early termination (ET) fees. Amended the process to enable a more automated process for the Customer Service teams.• Dismantled and enhanced the functionality and ease of the Excel spreadsheets used in the department.• Worked with ET insurance cover, liaising with a third party for settlement and negotiated the fees on behalf of customers.• Amended the ET insurance calculation process; negotiated payments for £400,000 that had been outstanding for 5 years. Took only 3 months after making my process changes to agree settlement.• Made an additional £30,000 profit through the new ET insurance calculation, the third party company was more than happy to agree with the new process.
