When Solid Waste Report was sold, I was offered a position with the new owners. Once I declined, they offered me a contract editor position which I accedped. I continued to "own" Solid Waste Report. I wrote and editted a newsletter every other week. Also, I provide copy for an on-line newszine on the off weeks. I conducted all interviews, selected topics, and did my own research. I also attended trade shows.

I was the one man act behind Solid Waste Report. The weekly newsletter covered business aspects of landfills, municipal solid waste, recycling, research, reuse, state and federal regulations. I also assisted college students obtain paid internships, and trained less experienced editors in conference coverage and how to write an implication lead.

I earned an MA in journalism with a focus on magazine writing.
