Key Achievements:• Created 4 large-scale ‘Floodplain Wetland Mosaics’ from design, contractor procurement to delivery working in partnership with landowners and partner organisations, for example The River Thame Conservation Trust, The National Trust and Thames Water to create a series of wetland features on floodplains across Oxfordshire. • I designed and managed a traineeship programme called ‘Freshwater Futures’ which offered three young trainees the opportunity to have a year’s structured and vocational training working with Freshwater Habitats Trust to enable them to gain valuable skills in the conservation sector. All three trainees have gained full time roles at Freshwater Habitats Trust.• I managed and delivered a rare wetland plant propagation programme called ‘GroWet’ which involved over 500 Oxfordshire residents in growing rare wetland plants at home and engaged local community groups and stakeholders in wetland habitat conservation through a series of walks, talks and events during 2023.• I had responsibility for project and budget management of a large Green Recovery Challenge Fund grant from Defra (£810,000) and successfully completed the evaluation of the project (a 16,000 word report) to the fund facilitator, The National Lottery Heritage Fund in March 2023.
