January 24: I've had a year off, got my inheritance and used it well lol. NOW I need a new start, 3-6 month contract in 2nd line (I have a bit of a stammer and bad hearing/tinnitus so 1st lines not good for me full-time). If you need computers fixing/deploying I'm your man! I like to be active so any desktop installation programs would be brilliant.I've been a professional mobile computer technician for over twenty years working from my South Shields base visiting homes and offices, factories, schools etc. around the North East region. Due to the evolution of the computer industry business has declined over the years so I've recently joined the 'contracting game' and am interested in it. I've worked as a 2nd line support technician and enjoy helping people with their computer problems from software issues to hardware replacement including backup and reinstallation of operating system and software.In my last role and first contract I was introduced to pxe deployment, SCCM, AD, PDQ and Assyst ticketing system and picked it up pretty quickly. I wasn't allowed to create packages due to the security of the business and network but as a team we worked together to try and test it out so I do have knowledge of it all.I prefer 'hands on' manual work over sitting pxe booting hundreds of computers for depoyment and enjoyed setting up hundreds of desktop hybrid work stations as part of my last role. I'm looking for a role with this in mind.
