Awarded the Richard U. Light Fellowship that provides full funding for Yale students of exceptional promise to study Chinese, Japanese, or Korean at specific Approved Programs in East Asia—received $13,958 to study Mandarin abroad in CET Beijing.Hired by CET Beijing to be a Student Correspondent Social Media Creator— worked as a social media creator in Beijing to document my experience and inspire others to study abroad with CET as well.Certified as a Young Envoys Scholarship Fellow by the China Education Association and engaged in cross-cultural communication with various students to address issues regarding climate change, cultural awareness, and education.

Created a prototype website for a home aid startup with the goal of consolidating various home aid profiles around the web into one easy-use platform. Utilized web scraping, databases, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flask for this project.

Planned and led two home conferences with over 150 delegates each that raised $5,000+ for UNICEF and the club. While in this position, I delegated tasks among officers regarding preparation of the conference and outreach, collaborated with chairs to publish briefs and set up committees, and ran the day-of operations.

Taught Robotics Projects based on C language, assisted in Computer Science Algorithms in C/C++, and mentored RoboCupJunior Rescue Line Competition students (one group got 3rd in Nationals).

Researched at the Dependable Computing Laboratory under Assistant Professor Wenchao Li and graduate student Jiameng Fan— created a neural network predictor that can learn the dynamics of robotic systems without prior knowledge of its environment, the robotic model, or kinematics.

Worked with Professor Yu and graduate student Kai Gao from the Department of Computer Science to build robotics systems for out-reach programs involving computer science algorithms, computer vision, graph theory, and robotics systems— one project involved using a robotic arm with vacuum suction cups and a camera to solve Hanoi's Tower.
