IT Consultant, working across permanent and contract vacancies in the Private and Public Sector.

In this role I worked onsite at Transpower, providing desktop support to Transpower users. This included:• Investigating and resolving complicated incidents that 1st & 2nd Level Analysts are unable to resolve. • Providing desktop support to Transpower users for 3rd level incidents, including:- working with users to understand incident details/severity and resolution timeframes;- communicating complex IT concepts to users with differing levels of technical expertise; and- applying software updates and fixes.

1st point of contact for any technology issues for PSIS staff including head office and the national branch network. Responsibilities included:• Providing 1st level helpdesk support to branch network and Head Office staff.• Providing a single point of contact, from support initiation to successful resolution.• Promptly resolving incidents and ensuring appropriate incident escalation.• Effectively liaising with external business partners/suppliers of services.

• Main Bank Switching team – Assisting customers moving to the NBNZ, including liaising with customer and third party companies.• Enquiries team – Liaising with customers and other banks whilst meeting SLAs. • Cash Deposit Help Desk – Assisting customers with issues relating to their deposits.• Bill Payment team – Working with customers and the bank to ensure large bill payments are processed within required time frames and are not fraudulent
