I contributed to the development of a technological infrastructure enabling digitally controlled pharmaceutical compounding through Tulip software. Specifically, I designed an application utilizing JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to monitor ingredient usage in drug production.

I analyzed and characterized ion exchange membranes produced through additive manufacturing for applications of water desalination through electrodialysis. I also synthesized polymer membranes through interfacial polymerization reactions and linear polymerizations. I have adapted the molecular structure of traditional reverse osmosis membranes to be suitable for water purification in a system with decreased energy requirements.

I helped design and test a closed system cell culture approach utilizing pumps, tubing, welders, pressure differentials, and a new counter flow centrifugation device. I verified the system and began process validations. I also was responsible for cell culturing to achieve a desired concentration for placement in a bioreactor for vaccine production.
