SYLC is a non-profit project in Malaysia that focuses on leadership development in secondary school students. This project consisted of 14 workshops centered around introductory leadership concepts, primarily emphasizing soft skills such as communication and teamwork. The project ended with a 3 day conference, attended by 60 delegates, with the theme "Navigating Your Future": the conference's main goal was to help students become self aware about what they want in their future and then give them the leaderships skills to lead themselves towards that future. Session topics during the conference integrated both soft skills and hard skills and were organized and facilitated by an international team.

As a team member, I was responsible for researching local companies, making cold calls, going on sales appointments, and contributing to the talent matching process once a contract was raised.

This role included all HR tasks, both administrative and strategic for a local committee of around 45 members. I was responsible for all recruitment activities, creating and implementing a membership model and local education cycle, tracking functional area performance, and shaping the direction of the organization alongside the rest of the executive board.

Managua, Nicaragua

During my internship with the national team of AIESEC in Nicaragua, I was responsible for 3 national-level events: a cultural preparation seminar designed to prepare students going abroad for the challenges they could face and how to manage them; a reintegration seminar to debrief the experience of students that have just returned from being abroad; and a national training induction for the organization's newly recruited members.
