The Dallas facility is over 220,000 square feet and has 304 doors.Lead Supervisor - 5 direct reports - As a lead supervisor I was responsible for assignments of the workload for my shift, 5 supervisors managing the various areas of the dock operation, assisting with priority shipments passing through the facility, and the overall general operation during my time frame. I assisted in improving various supervisor's performance and had constructive interviews with them for improving load factor, load quality, and dock performance.Expedited Supervisor - In this role I was responsible for all of the guaranteed, priority, and hot shipments passing through the facility. This role required researching various customers, shipping/receiving addresses, and knowledge of company operations to research, locate, and improve travel time of time sensitive shipments.Outbound Zone Supervisor - While a zone supervisor in Dallas I was responsible for 4 different zones and multiple production teams. I managed such zones as the eastern united states, pacific coast, pacific northwest, and Texas destinations. When changing between these various zones, I increased the load factor by a minimum of 5% and in one case increased the load factor of the heavies zone by nearly 10%. Increasing the load factor of my area reduced the number of trailers being closed out to the pacific destinations, as well as the pacific northwest especially, thus reducing many transportation costs.Inbound Supervisor - In this role I assisted in route planning for all of the shipments destined to the Dallas area. As a Lead it was my responsibility to assume the role of supervisor during his/her absence and manage the operation. Additionally, I was also responsible for assisting in shift meetings, shift performance evaluation, and ensuring schedule adherence.As an Inbound Lead I loaded 6 routes in the metro area of Fort Worth and also loaded all of the appointments, open routes, and early schedules for the day. I maintained the highest production metrics through this time on my shift and often assisted others on my shift with meeting schedule requirements. During supervisor absence on this shift, I was responsible for distributing the work load to the shift and running the routing plan which the other loaders and operations leads used throughout the day.
