I spend my time between two main functions: research/due diligence and managing day-to-day business activities. I participate in the monitoring of the overall VA/VUL fund platform. I also conduct industry-level research, evaluating competitor products, fund line-ups, asset class coverage and sales. On the business side I facilitate information flow between my group and various partners (internal and external), and participate in various projects to improve the overall annuity business. • I participate in the ongoing monitoring of the overall VA/VUL platform, including the Portfolio Navigator Funds of Funds and Columbia VP – Managed Volatility Fund• I conduct ongoing competitor research, including review of fund offerings with a particular focus on managed volatility strategies• I act as a resource for various internal groups (investment accounting, sales, financial reporting, illustrations etc.) and as a point of contact for approximately 30 non-prop fund partners• I have helped drive various business improvement initiatives, including two fund substitution projects, Portfolio Navigator migration, RAVA 5 launch, VUL 5 line-up analysis and managed volatility analysis

I was a member of the GlobalBridge Investment Group and spent my time on evaluating/maintaining the manager roster and database (SMA platform), and assisted the sales team in prospecting and client retention.• Evaluated and maintained a roster of approximately 55 managers and 120 strategies • Led manager searches and contract negotiation • Led quarterly manager write-up process, including performance attribution analysis • Presented due diligence process to prospective clients • Led monthly and/or quarterly investment calls with key clients • Assisted clients in establishing manager line-up and evaluation process

I split my time between two primary functions: client service and manager research. I was the lead analyst on 9 institutional accounts (accounts ranged from $300 million to over $1 billion in total assets).
