Co-created an introductory survey course investigating the nature of the psychedelic experience, the effects of psychedelics on sensory processing and cognition, its influence in western civilization, its history in indigenous cultures, and its application and recent expansion in clinical science and medicine.Notable experiences:* Co-designed a course syllabus. * Established and cultivated relationships with a diverse range of experts and influential figures for the purpose of leading guest lectures and class discussions on topics in neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, clinical and basic science, sociology, culture, public policy, social justice/equitability, and education. * Created and graded assignments. * Facilitated course discussions and moderated guest lectures. * Provided guidance and managed student concerns. * Designed and presented a lecture on the structure and basic functions of the brain and the neural mechanisms of psychedelic experiences.

Co-created a registered student organization at UC Berkeley focused on the emerging field of psychedelic science with the purposes of 1) cultivating curiosity, community, and professional and academic relationships, and 2) engaging with the community (local and global) to influence positive changes in culture and public policy that improve the health and well-being of people and the environment.Notable experiences: * Established and maintained relationships with professionals and academics in various fields related to psychedelic medicine/therapy, basic and clinical science, public policy, and issues concerning social justice/equitability. * Co-organized an administrative structure to preserve the integrity of our student organization and ensure its legacy through future generations. * Co-created a space for discourse on a broad range of disciplines that intersect on the topic of psychedelic compounds and their place in society.
