Recruiting Manager
CurrentI serve as the Army's ambassador within the community where I recruit, determine applicant enlistment eligibility, counsel applicants on enlistment programs and options, prepares enlistment applications, and processes qualified applicants to enlist in the Army and the Army Reserves. I was in four locations total. Jackson, MS with 6 recruiters, 4 vehicles, 16 high schools and 4 colleges; Colorado Springs, CO with 12 recruiters, 9 vehicles, 26 high schools and 3 colleges; Louisville, KY with 5 recruiters, three vehicles, 12 high schools and 3 colleges and lastly Bossier City, LA with 15 recruiters, 10 vehicles 36 high schools and 8 colleges. I also developed 3 top producing recruiters who wrote 24 or more contracts each individually yearly. - Developed understanding of the U.S. Army Reserve Programs allowing the team to close 1 ST QTR FY18 Army Reserve mission by 130%. - Supervised & trained 6 soldiers resulting in 1 Soldier enlisting the Company’s first ever SMP Officer cadet. - implements & conducts Army awareness programs throughout an area covering 591 square miles with a population of 434,576. - Responsible for $35,000 worth of Government equipment. - Maintains a network of influencers that includes parents, educators, & community officials in 18 high schools & one college.
