Serves as the Support Operations Officer for the 501st Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team (Stryker), 1st Armored Division. Responsible for providing field feeding, bulk fuel, ammunition, distribution, maintenance, mortuary affairs, STAMIS and medical support within the SBCT in which is comprised of 7 battalions, which includes 6 Forward Support Companies(FSC) supporting 4,200Soldiers. Work closely with Brigade S4 and supported Battalions S4s to coordinate future support requirements and make necessary adjustments to ensure support requirements are met. Led, develop, and mentor Support Operations staff comprised of 4 Officers, 2 Warrant Officers and 7 NCOs.
Battalion Executive Officer
Serves as the Battalion Executive Officer for a 950 Soldier Brigade Support Battalion supporting a Stryker Brigade Combat Team capable of world wide deployment. Directly responsible for directing, coordinating, supervising, training, and synchronizing the work of the staff and ensures effective and prompt staff actions for four assigned companies and six attached Forward Support Companies (FSC). Ensures that he understand the commander's intent and ensure the brigade support battalion staff implements it. Also provides the commander with the tools to visualize, describe, direct, and assess operations. The executive officer monitors the status of all subordinate units and ensures that status isprovided to the BSB commander.
