Schedule meeting reservations and maintain orderly and updated records in a facility that hosts 5,000 events per year. Other responsibilities include answering incoming calls, providing personable customer service, and forwarding inquiries to the respective personnel.

Prepare 30 hours of educational workshops to teach peers leadership skills, conversational skills, and recruitment practices.

Oversee 100 members and guide 20 officer positions with their events, responsibilities, questions and concerns. Other duties include serving as a spokesperson for the organization, conflict resolution, maintaining morale, providing structure, and serving as the liaison between the chapter and outside groups.

I worked with the Marketing Communications team in creating customer-facing materials such as case studies, product reviews, and newsletters. I also aided in updating the division website and tracking and improving Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I gained hands-on experience in event planning as well by providing assistance in the coordination of an upcoming customer seminar. I researched events, venues, and transportation as well as created materials such as the seminar agenda, flyer, eBlasts, and related website content. My summer internship at Parker Hannifin was very beneficial in gaining experience for my future career path.
