An M.S. (by Research) Graduate from IIT Madras who did Research in the area of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Self-Supervised Learning (SSL) for ASR under the guidance of Prof. S. Umesh and Prof. Hema A Murthy. I have published two papers in Interspeech 2022. I also worked as a Project Associate in the National Language Translation Mission (NLTM) - Bhashini project funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India. In this project, my role was to build, deploy, and improve the performance of ASR systems for Indian languages. I am experienced with varied toolkits such as ESPnet2, fairseq, kaldi, and SpeechBrain. I have also worked in Speaker Verification for a brief period. I am also interested in other areas of speech technologies, such as multilingual ASR systems and TTS. I have three years of experience as a Software Developer with a demonstrated history of working in the fintech industry before joining M.S. I am skilled in Java, Python, and C/C++ programming languages. I have working experience in cutting-edge Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, Hive, Apache Kafka, and Flume, among others. I am always inclined toward learning. I am very passionate about teaching.
