Ocean Diagnostics tackles complex global environmental problems like plastic pollution and biodiversity loss through innovative technology, cutting-edge laboratory capabilities and collaborative partnerships. Overseeing the company's marketing, sales and community science divisions, I develop company-wide strategies and lead the outstanding team that executes them.

Designated ASHOKA change-maker and Canadian Fair Trade campus, SFU is leading engaged university in ecological, social, and economic sustainability. Developing and implementing comprehensive sustainability communications strategies I help to raise the profile of SFU's institutional sustainability activities, align institutional sustainability brand narrative, produce stories through a range of online and in person media, and manage all aspects of the development and publication process for sustainability communication collateral, newsletters, information and presentation materials.

A growth strategist firm in the Fraser Valley, Social Life Media assists entrepreneurs and local businesses to develop branding and social media campaign strategies to be seen by and engage with their target audiences. Supporting a variety of clients, I facilitated strategic planning, conducted market research and analysis, co-designed brands and campaigns, developed and published website and social media content.

As the organization's sole employee, I led strategic planning, program development and a capital campaign while overseeing 25 volunteers and supporting a range of client needs. Other responsibilities including building relationships with community partners and funders, coordinating events, and writing policies, procedures, website content, press releases and grant applications.

International Run locations are organized by Canadian Embassies/Consulates, Canadian Forces Bases, Anti-Cancer Councils and Societies as well as other dedicated organizations and individuals who have raised over $67 million CAD for cancer research projects since 1992. Assisting the International Director, I liaised with Run Organizers in over 30 countries outside of Canada, produced newsletters, stories, speeches and other communications materials.
