Hello! My name is Ashley Daniel, and I am happy to meet you.I appreciate that you are taking the time to review my portfolio. I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. I attended Harding Academy high school then went on to study Biology and psychology at Lyon College. To aid my finances in college, I was awarded a full volleyball scholarship. Since I was eight years old, I have played volleyball. Now, I coach young female athletes at the same volleyball club where I used to play.I have both hospital and clinic experience, so I have learned much about clinic management and collaborative practice through my extensive time working directly under a physician along with a team of physicians of multiple disciplines in a variety of specialties ranging from neuroscience, orthopedics, orthospine, and most recently, cardiology. In my time at UTMP cardiology, I have begun seeing patients independently of my overseeing physician during multiple clinics weekly: managing the care of patients with acute exacerbations of complex cardiac conditions to those being seen for chronic, stable conditions.I am board certified in family practice and possess an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license with fitness to prescribe in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
