Plan and perform/support audits of Harris Information Technology functions with over 400 employees activities in several countries, with emphasis on assessment of internal controls. Help to determine audit scope and direction, develop audit programs and budget estimates, and perform test procedures designed to analyze key systems and related process controls. Evaluate process and business systems effectiveness through the application of knowledge of financial, manufacturing, engineering, procurement processes.

Instruction of college level accounting classes. Conduct assessments and implement lessons. Grade assessments accordingly.

In my previous role at LG&E and KU I was responsible for analyzing IT Department controls to ensure they are adequate and were appropriately documented to ensure company risks were minimized. This includes the design of additional controls and narratives as needed. My role required me to act as a liaison for the IT Department with internal and external audit and both Sarbanes Oxley departments at PPL and LKE. I completed all SOX 404 audit testing activities for the IT Department, and coordinated all walkthroughs for all IT and non IT application controls. I also analyzed all IT applications and interfaces on an annual basis to determine scoping for Sarbanes Oxley purposes.

In my current role, I am develoing a compliance framework for the Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model (C2M2), Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). All of these frameworks must combine to established one set of overarching internal controls for LKE. I am the lead on developing these controls. I currently am overseeing and guiding the direction of other IT SOX Compliance analysts for Sarbanes Oxley 404 testing and other audit scenarios.

Conducted audits of employee travel expenses in excess of $30,000 per day. Audited companies cricket tournament expenses involving 20 countries and documented findings.
