The position included tending to over 2000 trees, such as setting up the irrigation system, monitoring pests, and cutting suckers off the trees. I collect data about how various cultivars responded in that environment to help determine which was best suited. Data was collected then compiled in Excel. One of the motivating factors for me, was the greater goal of bringing the hazelnut industry to Ontario to lower emissions due to importing

Each summer worked with an executive team to create a positive camp experience and smooth program. Supervised 50-80 children age 6-8, trained counselors and led them through the summer, created and organized a camp schedule, solved conflicts amongst counsellors as well as between children.
