Nsidibe Michael is a Senior Corrosion Engineer and an AMPP Senior Certified Coatings Inspector (formerly NACE Level 3). He also holds certifications as a lead auditor for ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 management systems, as well as an ISO 31000 Enterprise Risk Manager. Driven by a passion for loss prevention, he specializes in extending the lifespan of assets through effective corrosion control.His expertise spans the entire asset lifecycle, including conceptualization, specification development, material selection, project execution, inspection, maintenance, and corrosion control. With extensive experience in technical leadership, he has overseen coating and lining projects across various industries, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, mining, manufacturing, and infrastructure.Nsidibe has successfully led cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution, meeting timelines, quality standards, and budgets. He has also spearheaded the implementation of ISO 31000 Enterprise Risk Management and integrated management systems for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015.He excels in translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans, facilitating effective communication and alignment among team members, clients, and suppliers.His past coating projects include cement mortar lining, cold tape wrapping, heat shrink sleeves, internal fusion bonded epoxy, HDPE lining, liquid epoxy lining, hot-dip galvanizing, conventional and specialty liquid coatings, 3LPE/LPP, spray polypropylene (FSPP), and insulation joints, including half-shells.
