In order to be an effective Atlassian Administrator, it's REQUIRED to be able to recognize and enumerate business processes small and large, technical and non-technical. This is a world that Austin excels within; Difficult environments and challenging processes are not a concern: Research, development, testing, and implementation are easily within his skillset as he has proven time and time again. Austin is able to prepare for the worst and expect the best. I worked with Austin while we were at Quality Bicycle Products: Austin was an established IT Help Desk employee when I joined the IT organization with Quality Bicycle Products. I worked indirectly with him and occasionally directly with him, but I was always left impressed no matter what the issue or project was. Later in our careers, we both wound up on the West Coast and, long story short, he joined us at BlackPearl PDM/Equip. This was one of the best possible moves we could have made at BlackPearl PDM/Equip and I believe that Austin drove much of the success that we experienced at that company. Austin naturally fell into Team Manager and Tools Engineer role; He was able to easily span the bridge between technical conversations and his manager role, which made him absolutely invaluable as we spread across the West Coast ecosystem. If I ever have the opportunity to work with Austin again, I will take that opportunity in a heartbeat."
