I worked at EMERGE Fellowship, a nonprofit that supports minority, low-income, and first-generation students to combat the issue of “undermatching,” high-achieving students attending higher education institutions that do not match their academic rigor. My work as a Program Manager required me to schedule, prepare, and facilitate EMERGE curriculum sessions to my cohorts. Additionally, my work included advising college strategy, crafting newsletters for campus stakeholders, and reporting student outcomes and details of contact through our Salesforce database.
