• Warehouse management - Driving warehouse operational efficiencies in terms of higher throughput, faster truck turnaround time, labor efficiency, time management. - Warehouse cost management, overhead expense control (detentions, overtime etc.) - Monitoring of obsolescence at depots, coordinating with stake holders to take necessary action. - Ensure depot SOP compliance. - Depot audits. - Driving best practices across depots. - Selection and negotiation for new warehouses, CFA. - Warehousing budget preparation and alignment with central team.• Secondary freight management- Responsible for managing secondary distribution for the region.- Secondary transportation rate negotiation, vendor development, finalization of agreements.- Tracking and controlling of cost vs budget.- Monitoring vehicle utilization, route planning.- Driving performance metrics – Indent vs placement. Utilization, TT adherence, shortage/damage.- Driving cost efficiencies by implementing alternate methods – truck mix, dedicated truck operations etc.- Maintenance of secondary transportation master data - freight rates, routes, distance etc.• Customer service- Implementation and driving of Continuous replenishment system.- Driving Permanent dispatch schedule compliance.- Managing demand fulfilment of all channels.- Driving 90% + fill rates for all SKU’s.
