I was privileged to work with, and gain experience under the fantastic RST and Management personnel at Laminex Dardanup. Over these weeks, I was challenged to revolutionize onsite change management communications, cooperating with the site team to produce and trial a Database and Communications system through extensive use of VBA macros in Microsoft Excel.I also became engaged with a project team to investigate possible improvements to onsite manufacture in attempts to improve production value. For this team I collated, reorganised and presented three years' worth of production data, gaining valuable experience of project team work, professional expectations and standards.Whilst working on these projects, I also worked to update any and all standard operating procedures I could access in my time with Laminex Dardanup, in the end delivering updates and complete re-writes to ten documents. I was also tasked to generate and present a number of 'technical bulletins', typically one to two page documents describing plant products, equipment and process. By my end date, I had created eleven of these documents, then presenting three to Shift Team Leaders, RST Managers and Technical Heads of department.
