Currently working as the Back Half Sort Manager. - Taking care of upwards of 240 direct reports. - Processing upwards of 40k in volume daily. Started initially working with the Prime Free Same day and RTS teams.- Managing a team of 25+ direct reports. - Implemented and drove a more standard Overtime request process for DSP's. Seeing a reduction in requests & therefore related costs. - Worked on numerous safety projects to see through a safer shift with less chance of injury. - Successfully ran the highest package & route count Same Day shifts for Prime week, doubling average volume for the shift with no drop in delivery success rate.

Assisting the running of the primary sort shift underneath an Area Manager. Leading standup meetings with 90+ staff, addressing safety, SOP and Quality issues. Ensuring Linehaul's are to schedule and coordinating all inbound loads to ensure a high FPH is achieved throughout the shift. Coordinating the staffing of all jobs on shift and staff changes to fix pinch points affecting the operation as well ensuring all areas are appropriately staffed to achieve a successful result. - Implemented a two belt system for fluid loads, decreasing the amount of downtime in FPH and ensuring a consistent FPH is maintained through the belts. - Built a volume planner which ensured visibility on low volume aisles during the shift, allowing staffing changes to be made on the fly and bringing down overall shift cost by being able to move around resources and run shift with lower Headcounts. - Solved an issue with the network receive tool that was impacting multiple stations, solution allowed other stations to maintain FPH without problems until tool was fixed.

Continuing from my role as a Supervisor for SMX after converting to an Amazon Associate, I now work with a team of Associates to train all the new hires coming in to DPD1 in Portland.
