Total 10 years’ work experience in steel manufacturing work environment. Obtained Southern Steel Group undergraduate scholarship and started career in the group as an Engineer for 4.5 years (1 year as procurement engineer). During these 4.5 years engineer work experience, has gained technical knowledge in Steel (flat & long) product such as steel pipes, wire mesh, pc strand etc and has familiarized with steel manufacturing processes (Upstream & Downstream). Thereafter, has joined a new set up as Sales & Marketing Executive, successfully expanded the company business & was promoted to Asst Manager, leading sales team (5 persons) to achieve company’s sales objective. Company’s main product is steel wire mesh, supplying to construction industry in Singapore (75%) & Malaysia (25%). Roles and responsibilities include growing existing customer account, and progressively developing new account. Current new role in company is to develop and drive new products and services (profit channels) in group’s ambition to diversify in challenging markets. Provide end to end sales solution including sales contract management, deliveries, credit & cost control
