Built a team of 150 employees at peak and managed of P&L of $10 million annually.➤ Developed change management process to quickly transition hundreds of municipalities and utilities to the One Call IT system within 24 months. This involved both developing new IT protocols to meet the needs of members of all sizes, then managing the relationships with each member for successful onboarding. The rapid, on-time growth in membership led to a reduction in member fees of 40% over the next three years. ➤ Created a new “smart ticket” platform, driving online ticket entry from 0% to 95% within five years, reducing call centre staffing costs by 40%. The new platform eliminated unnecessary requests being sent to members, providing more than $10 million annually in ongoing member efficiencies, which is greater than the cost they pay to operate Ontario One Call. ➤ Removed long-standing barriers to operational efficiencies by creating a government-stakeholder working group to generate solutions ultimately included in government legislation. Over time, it is expected that up to 20% of locates will be delivered through new service delivery models, in particular for vital infrastructure projects such as broadband and transit expansion. ➤ Established the Professional Locate Administrator Course, an online certification program to enhance quality control by helping excavators maximize the accuracy of excavation requests. Over 2,000 individuals have become certified in the first two years.Reported to a Board of Directors made up of 16 industry and excavator representatives.

Timely approval of the by-laws in April 2014 allowed for full system implementation by the legislated timeline of June 2014.
