After interaction with Engineering Geologists during my postgraduate studies, I was fortunate to land a role with Coffee (N.Z), A Tetra Tech Company. In this position, I was working with the City Edge Alliance on the construction of the Waikato Expressway project - One of New Zealand's most significant roading projects. This role was varied, and required.

I was employed by the Univerisity of Waikato as a demonstrator of first year Earth and Ocean science laboratories. Key aspects of the position include tutoring of classes, marking of assignments and tests, engaging with students and providing constructive feedback alongside assisting with teaching theory and practical applications of the Earth Sciences.

I worked in the Land & Environment team at AgResearch over the summer of 2014/15. Over this time I was involved in a project that sought to corroborate Nitrogen leaching models within soil systems.This role eventuated into a position with AgResearch on a casual contract, primarily helping with laboratory and field work on a casual basis whilst undertaking.

During the 2015/2016 summer I was employed by the Bay of Plenty Regional council as a summer student. Primarily, I organised and undertook sampling of soils throughout the Bay of Plenty region, as part of an ongoing regional project.
