Created and developed a strategy to achieve the largest peacetime deployment in St John Ambulance’s history. Co-ordinated senior staff from multiple directorates across the charity, along with undertaking contract negotiations with strategic partner organisations. -

My scope of responsibility extended into Ambulance Operation, Emergency Planning, and other specialist functions. I worked with key stakeholders such as the County Clinical Team to ensure that the business achieves its commercial objectives while ensuring quality of the highest standard. Key Activities New Business: Having identified a market opportunity, undertook a trial with the local trust and wrote a tender bid to win the contract ahead of 17 competing companies. Healthcare Regulation: Worked with the CQC on the private ambulance pilot and delivered regulatory compliance within SJA through the development of new systems and team work.Managing Change: The healthcare regulation in April 2011 meant significant changes needed to be implemented rapidly and effectively. Provided reassurance to staff and working closely with NHQ to ensure delivery of the standards. -
