I repair keyboards, synthesizers, vintage electric pianos, and sometimes guitar amps and communicate with the customers who bring them in. I also run sound, lighting, and video for many of the events taking place at the store.

* Many years of experience with sound design and producing desired sounds with different instruments, effects, and microphones* Passionate about microphone placement. Willing to go the distance to ensure each microphone is sounding good on the way into the console and fits the creative vision of each artist. * Organization during a session is a high priority for me. This means keeping tabs on the security checklist, accurately marking down inputs for each microphone, labeling the correct tracks in a daw and/or on a console, taking notes of any changes made during the sessions, and making sure everything is neatly put away after the session has finished. * Efficient with wrapping and storing cables* Experienced at setting levels, signal processing, utilizing patchbays and outboard gear* Focused on making a comfortable recording environment where clients can express their creativity unfettered* Remaining calm during troubleshooting and any other unexpected obstacles* An understanding of how to solder cables (TS,TRS, and XLR)* Extremely fluent with Ableton Live (since 2013) and also experienced with Pro Tools, Logic, and Reaper* Skilled at programming both analog and digital synthesizers (hardware or software)* Ready to go the extra mile in order to achieve excellence
