I was recruited by the plant’s senior leadership to manage a PPV portfolio generating $1M in cost savings on a total direct spend of $15M by coordinating supply chain management, sourcing, procurement, specification development, inventory management, and product / component qualification for 5 new products.-We collaboratively resolved systemic design issues and identified new components to cut per-unit costs as much as 60%.-I was hand-picked as the Project Manager for the outsourcing of our stamping process, which includes the relocation of 3, 30-ton and 3, 60-ton presses along with 750+ tooling pieces in a tight 6-month time frame.

After being promoted from the Validation Engineer role, I led teams in the design of new and improved transducers. I was selected to lead multiple manufacturing projects through the entire project management lifecycle. In 2010, I was hand-picked by the Director of Procurement to fulfill the Senior Strategic Commodity Manager position for a $40M transducer portfolio. He was impressed with my leadership abilities after serving as a member on the 12-person Value Stream Mapping project I led that removed a series of design loops from our process that eliminated 2 months from the overall R&D cycle time.-I led 2 large new product launches and 30 product variation releases.-I was able to boost the productivity on our project and manufacturing resources by 8% through the addition of SharePoint solutions for enhanced collaboration and the automation of vital processes.-I successfully negotiated $2M in supply management portfolio savings.

I coordinated the design, development, and execution of validation test plans for high-end automotive speaker and amplifier products. My team and I verified that products met the internal design specifications as well as the needs and technical parameters of our core client base.

I was recruited by Bosch directly from Kettering’s program, after having multiple offers, including one from General Motors, to lead the design of the engineering and manufacturing process for vacuum-filled ABS and ESP systems secondary circuits at the plant in Germany.-I spearheaded the $1.2M manufacturing cell launch project that was delivered ahead of schedule and 5% under the defined budget.-I was then chosen to lead the technology and process transfer to a new manufacturing site in South Carolina.

Tonawanda, Ny

As part of Kettering’s elite Engineering program, I was recruited by GM for their Co-Op program in the GM Powertrain division. GM asked me to supervise a team of 30 in production line operations.-I identified an issue with the grinding lathes and put together a plan to fully overhaul each lathe in a manner that didn’t negatively impact production levels during the retrofit. The lathe overhaul, when completed on all machines, resulted in a 50% production throughput improvement.
