Ben is a Principal at Netcompany who has built a reputation for winning and delivering large scale digital transformation and system integration projects. His experiences are wide ranging and gained from working with a variety of world-class businesses, underpinned by broad commercial and technical knowledge.Following an early passion for all things technical, Ben commenced work as a Computer Programmer with an international IT Services company. After a few years, and listening to his entrepreneurial instincts, he left to join a dotcom start-up, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the business in the United States, Australia and South Africa. Subsequently keen to develop a foundation in business, Ben took a year out to complete an MBA, before joining a boutique consultancy specialising in digital transformation. Working with a number of airlines in Asia and the Middle East he delivered mission critical technology programmes, latterly returning to the UK and focusing on delivering digital transformation within the Financial Services sector. He joined Hunter Macdonald in February 2016 as part of the leadership team that propelled the company to recognition as the UK’s fastest-growing IT service provider on The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 in September 2017. The business was subsequently acquired by Netcompany. With Netcompany, Ben has remained in a senior leadership role, responsible for pro-actively winning new business, leading client deliveries, developing teams, and coaching talent.
