Since 1993, as a Commercial Retail Property Manager in Austin, Texas, I continually managed shopping centers with as much as 1 million square feet. My management style is very pro-active with a commitment to the reputation and success of the management company. My success has been in providing quality services for owners and tenants by continually re-evaluating expenses and services, thus maintaining tenant retention and profitability for the shopping centers' owners. I have represented both individual owners and institutional owners.As Property Manager, I have been responsible for all facets of the day-to-day operations, annual budgeting and financial and operating reporting. I have worked with individual, as well as large institutional, owners; and have been the primary management contact during due diligence of both the purchase and sale of shopping centers. Additional responsibilities have included contracting and oversight of capital improvement projects and representing the management company during development and construction of new shopping centers, along with the coordination of tenant finish-out construction. In addition to retail, residential and office building property management, I previously worked as an estimator and sales representative for a door manufacturer, and as an office manager/administrative assistant in the sales and engineering departments of two luxury executive hotel conference centers and for two major insurance companies.
