Providing oversight, supervision, and training to Children's Advocacy Center Staff across NC and Multidisciplinary Team Partners. Continuing to provide Forensic Interviews to child victims. Working with the court system and agency partners toward successful prosecution of child abuse cases.

Forensic Child Interviews to assist with child abuse investigations. Leading a Multi-Disciplinary Team consisting of Law Enforcement, DSS, Assistant DA's Office and other vested stake holders. I take all referrals agency wide, screen adolescents, arrange needed appointments in order for FOCUS to provide them with needed mental health services. Field customer service issues. Coordinate with outside agencies. Provide education to community about services offered and how to access them.

Coordination, assessment and planning of client intakes for two Level III, Offense Specific, Residential Treatment Programs. Direct management of one 8-bed facility and supervision and oversight for an additional 4-bed facility. Evaluation and assessment of prospective clients. Ongoing assessment and determination of needs and strengths while clients are in the program. Advocating for and seeing that each clients needs are met Extensive communication and coordination between various service providers and other stake holders such as; families, Department of Social Services, Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Public School, Alternative Schools, Day Treatments, and Local Management Entities, and various private agencies. Consulting with Therapist, Psychologist, Medical Doctors, Psychiatrist, and other professionals to ensure that clients are receiving needed services and support. Implementing needed changes in services or supports both directly and through staff. Coordinate and facilitate Child and Family Team Meetings. Direct supervision of approximately 15 staff members; including staff development and training. Authorization of Medicaid billable services. Adherence to state and Medicaid documentation requirements for services provided. Development and revision of client’s Person Centered Plans of care. Transition and discharge planning through the continuum of care. Program development and implementation. Policy and program development to receive and adhere to national accreditation (CARF) guidelines.

Responsible for linking and arranging needed mental health services for child and adolescent clients. Maintaining a caseload of 15 plus clients. Direct care and skill/strength building with clients and their families in the home, home community, and within the school system. Supervision of associate professional and para-professional staff. Development and revision of the client’s Person Centered Plan. Completing service request and authorizations per Medicaid guidelines. Completing documentation per state and Medicaid requirements. Communication through and with Child and Family Teams including an array of community agencies.
