Senior Data Engineer for Care Innovations Data Analytics team. This team is responsible for creating and maintaining data warehouses and data marts for Care Innovations’ customers. Assisted in the design and implementation of a data mart supporting a clinical alert system based on medical claims procedure and diagnosis codes in conjunction with pharmacy drug codes of pregnant members. This data along with a dynamically built rule set alerted care managers of possible conditions (e.g. pre-gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.) of pregnant mothers existing in their pregnancy maternal care management system. The data mart supporting these alerts was developed using PostgreSQL 9.5. Designed and implemented a set of prototype analytic reports in conjunction with a pregnancy maternal care management system developed by Care Innovations. Created dashboards, summary and drill-down pregnancy data reports using the Jaspersoft BI Reporting tool. Worked on multiple descriptive statistics projects analyzing pregnancy and newborn medical claims data.  Designed and implemented data extracts, for multiple Care Innovations clients, developed utilizing Altova XMLSpy, Altova MapForce, Altova Flowforce, SSIS, and C#. Used Java, Selenium IDE and Selenium WebDriver to develop a program to automate button clicks for an application migration step. Used Intel Services Designer to develop the initial call component for the IVR application. Testing was performed in Intel Expressway Service Gateway and SOAPUI. Designed and implemented client reports using SSIS and C#.

ETL Engineering Specialist for ZirMed's Business Intelligence solutions team and a subject matter expert in Logi Analytics. This team was responsible for working with both ZirMed's internal and external customers to create and maintain analytic and warehousing solutions utilizing IBM DB2 9.7, IBM Infosphere DataStage, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, IIS, IBM Cognos, and Logi Analytics. Maintained an ETL process using IBM InfoSphere DataStage product (versions 8 and 8.5) to load both Claim and Remittance data from legacy Universe multi-value database system. Designed and Implemented KPIs, detail and summary reports for external customers based on Claim and Remittance data in Logi Analytics.  Designed and created multiple customer ad-hoc reports using IBM Cognos, Logi Analytics and Excel. Migrated a DB2 claim and remittance warehouse and data marts to SQL Server 2012. Worked with Hortonworks to overcome issues with Hadoop on Windows. Performance tuning and security setup for a Hadoop cluster on Windows. Migrated claim data from SQL Server 2012 to Hortonworks Hadoop cluster using SQL scripts, Pig, Sqoop, HDFS, and PowerShell.  First and second-line 24/7 support for Analytics production environment
