With over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, as an individual contributor and manager, I bring the value of my personal experience to our clients. I have hired and trained inside and outside sales people and truly empathize with the sales or marketing manager who has to get real results fast, in a growing and changing environment.As a National Sales Manager in the giftware industry, l quadrupled the company's revenue in three years while hiring and managing a channel sales force. Subsequently, as Director of Membership for The Smaller Business Association of New England, I drove membership numbers to a record level (that has never been surpassed) using an inside and outside sales model. In 1993, I joined Sales and Marketing Search as a recruiter. After interviewing me as a candidate for a client, the founder of the firm convinced me instead that I should start a career in recruiting. He was right. It was a great fit for my skills. In January of 2000, I purchased Sales and Marketing Search after being it's top biller for over five years. We recruit sales and marketing candidates for companies ranging in size from start-up ventures to $6B in sales. Our clients are primarily technology companies and b2b services companies. As I like to say, we do entry level to VP level, but we are very, VERY good right in the middle! I served on a number of boards and advisory committees, both in business and local community service such as SBANE, the MIT Enterprise Forum, Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services (Board member, North Chapter) and The Boston Club.
