I was responsible for the administration of a network that has over 800 users and 40 external sites. My role focused on hardware and software Infrastructure management.

As a member of the Network Services team it is my responsibility to, maintain the Data Backup of the Elan network. I was tasked with the Upgrade and maintenance of the server environment - Key amounts those duties was to build and backup servers in line with security guidelines.

As a member of the Applications team it was my responsibility to,provide technical support for manufacturing,finance and document control applications running on SQL/Oracle databases.It was also part of me duties to upgrade applications and develop subsequent procedures for systems support, whilst ensuring systems security.

My first role in ISGN was active directory management for GMACCM. This job entailed administrating the security requirements for GMACCM file servers & user accounts, following GMACCM’s security policy and procedures. This was instrumental in them achieving grade 1 SOX compliance.I was also responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining the desktop.

My job was to analyze the performance of the Esat Business network. This involved working with the entire NMC i.e. Switching, Transmission Data & IP sections. I had to set up procedures for report handling and then analyze the subsequent reports in order to gain the networks performance. It was my job to put together a weekly Network Performance report.
