Sole responsibility for the day-to-day operations, management and development of the KEXP website including site maintenance, graphic design, metrics analysis, providing technical support to end-users, development of new features and server management (in cooperation with the University of Washington). Responsible for full-scale redesign of the website in 2003 and won a Webby Award that year for best radio website. Features of the redesign included creation of a suite of content management tools based on ASP and SQL server, user interface design, and branding. Other key features launched during my tenure include development of a mobile website, including live audio streaming, podcasting, a shopping cart and deployment of a WordPress blog. Additionally responsible for development of an intranet, featuring web-based tools to support the programming, marketing and membership departments.

I managed the website through the use of a content management system. Responsibilities included day-to-day maintenance of the site, new features, graphic design, and metrics analysis. I was also responsible for the web and email servers for the business as a whole, and in that capacity, also provided in-house tech support for a host of computer systems.

I was an outside contractor brought in to build the company's intranet. This included converting the existing application from Perl to ASP, redesigning the database, and rebuilding the site.
