About Bill Walsh

I am a lawyer who doesn’t practice law. I started a healthy building group, but I can’t hammer a nail straight. I’ve been a visiting professor at the Parsons School of Design, but have no fashion sense. Need I add that I am not a chemist? I might seem like a walking contradiction, but what I am is curious about new ways to create meaningful, enduring, and positive change in society. I’m a seasoned and accomplished executive who founded the Healthy Building Network and grew it to be the nation's leading authority on product transparency and healthy materials in the building industry. For 25 years, I've been at the forefront of efforts to increase transparency, reduce toxic chemical hazards, and accelerate the transition to safer chemistry. Now I coordinate an innovative, collaborative effort to mobilize global investment for systematically replacing hazardous chemicals with alternatives that are verified to be safer for humans and the environment. If you are interested in investing to accelerate the transition to a nontoxic, safe and circular economy, please reach out!

Listed skills include Environmental Policy, Public Speaking, Strategic Planning, Community Outreach, and 10 others.
