Facilitate production of district’s annual budget through the analysis and compilation of revenues, expenses and other pertinent data. Develop reports and queries to assist in the analysis of critical information relating to district customers and other operating statistics. Assist in month-end and year-end general ledger closing processes. Provide adhoc financial and water production reports and analysis to district personnel. Provide support for annual audit and CAFR processes. Perform annual standby procedures, placing special assessments on parcels within the district’s boundaries. Reconcile district bank and connection fee accounts.

Manage all aspects of the university’s various trusts and annuities. Account for, review, and report on all gift annuity and trust investment activities for Biola University, Inc. both as trustee and as a separate corporate entity. Provide technical expertise in trust and gift annuity management, accounting and reporting, including related tax issues. Maintain favorable relations with donors, trustors, trust beneficiaries, gift annuitants, outside contractors, and government agencies.

Reconcile bank accounts related to e-commerce transactions and other various general ledger accounts. Audit university’s computer store inventory. Analyze university pre-paid insurance account to determine financial implications on university budget. Track the income and expenses from various university investment accounts. Facilitate the creation of departmental ecommerce websites.
