Risk Transfer Intermediary: United Advisors LLC (as a start-up reinsurance intermediary-broker and ins broker, we partnered with NFP in Jan 2009, and sold the book of business to NFP Corp, July 2022). Expanded pet health accident insurance nationwide, including 3 new carrier partnerships, and opened up retail P&C and Benefits broker production channels across several nationwide brokers. Helped grow this start up insure-tech (2006) to over $120m GWP & $10M+ EBITDA (2019). PB was acquired by Synchrony Financial (SFY) Q2-2019.

Restructured this long standing California managing general underwriter specialized in western states construction risks. The restructuring included the board and executive team, underwriting focus, broker distribution, expanding product lines / territory, streamlining policy servicing/administration/IT, and adding two new program issuing carriers along with reinsurance support.Increased GWP production by 8X and EBITDA by 15X over 5 years. Managed the search for a buyer and structured the acquisition for Ink Underwriting (London, UK) in 2016.

Formed a new operating division, within A.J. Gallagher (NYSE: AJG) for reinsurance and alternative risk transfer post sale of Gallagher Re to Aon Re. One year later (2009) we personally purchased our renewal book from AJG and moved it into a startup licensed intermediary (United Advisors LLC) launching NFP Corp's entre into reinsurance broking, program business, and alternative risk transfer specialties.

Opened up the western region office for Gallagher Re and led the program business production team nationwide (50+ brokers). Managed this start-up division part of A.J. Gallagher (NYSE: AJG) as part of the executive team. Gallagher Re was sold to AON Re January 2008.

Lead new business production team for the US western region, managing reinsurance risk transfer and provided additional solutions for several national, regional, and specialty insurance carriers including program business.E.W. Blanch (NYSE: EWB) was taken private after being purchased by Benfield Greg in 2001, becoming the worlds 3rd largest R-I intermediary. Benfield Inc. went public in 2003 and was purchased by Aon Re in 2007.

Trained across all departments (e.g., UW, claims, accounting, finance). Worked directly for the CFO placing the medical malpractice treaty reinsurance renewals (physicians, dentists, and hospitals), and responsible for publishing financial statement peer review analysis of all US med mal companies.
