● Took on the role of Japanese bat product line coordinator, managing the development of products to meet specific and stringent safety and performance standards while also designing for manufacturing. Provided timely project updates to international business managers, while coordinating sampling process for trade show and final confirmations prior to new product implentation(NPI). Through proper management of product development and NPI milestones, reduced scrap rate of traditionally high product line to essentially zero scrap.● Responsible for procurement and assembly of samples, in-line and SMU, for customer approval and various marketing/promotional events for NPI. Identified necessary tooling and new processes to ensure manufacturability, while maintaining high volume production parts meet design intent and quality standards.● Trained production associates in new processes and created/maintained work instructions and SOPs. Managed sampling and pre-production builds to ensure final product meets graphical and engineering specifications and identifying problems along the way. Managed composites lab materials and equipment. Created prototypes of bat components using various materials and processes, finishing samples on a CNC lathe. Maintained prototype database tracking key characteristics such as materials, laminate schedule, machining geometry as well as lab and field test results● Assisted in tooling design and exploring new materials and processes to apply to baseball bats● Specified and prepared justification for new capital equipment related to process and material research, and maintenance/modification of existing equipment● Responsible for preparation of test samples, set-up of various test machines according to procedures and provided written data analysis for engineering review.● Assisted in development of new test procedures to quantify bat performance based on static testing using a universal test machine

Developed and maintained NQL team intranet website. Performed backups and ensured user accessibility to the site.Prepare network of workstations for testing of NIC products by installing software and hardware to spec using Norton Ghost and setting up on LAN connected to Server.
